| It was pretty friggin crazy. 50 or so mostly random people when we went on (we only actually knew about 10 of em) and they definitely dug us. The weird thing is that halfway thru our set people started leaving in droves. We knew it wasn't cos we sucked. Hell - jaded Seattle punks were singing along with us! So what happened? Turns out the monorail caught fire right across the street. Hard to compete with that. After stopping for about a half hour, we went back inside to finish the set and everyone (plus many more) followed. We got offered 3 other shows just from this one night. Considering most people we knew were out of town, and the fact that aside from emails and handbills that we handed out there was zero promotion for our appearance, plus the multiple logistical and technical snafus (and I do mean multiple), it's amazing things came off at all, let alone as well as they did.
