One day after it was promised. It was close but not in time to
stop the posting of this page. Unfortunately this is what it took to get my
missing part...

This is an eBay auction that has gone wrong. Seller: X3Racing I ordered a ram air intake kit for my Nissan, and the
transaction went smooth. The item shipped quickly (I got it in about a week),
and it was up to my expectations for quality (I expected low quality). When I
got the kit I did an inspection. I had every part I should, but I was
missing one important part. I was missing the MAS adapter, and as most people
who know will tell you this kit will not work correctly without it. So I
fired off an email (1) to the company, they replied that I should fill out a
return form, so I did. {The actual auction did not say in words that the kit
came with the adaptor, however it was shown in the picture; since the picture
was basically the whole auction then it should have come with all the parts
in it. They did not dispute that fact. The picture has a copyright on it or I
would post it.} So the next day I received an email (2) from them saying it
would be sent after the weekend. So I waited and waited and waited, it never
came and it had been 2 weeks. So I sent another email (3) saying I had not
received the package also explaining my feelings on the matter. They replied
(4) that I should give it a few more days, and let them know what was going
on then. I had a suspicion that they were trying to force me beyond the
deadline for the eBay dispute console, but well I figured I would rather have
the part easily than try to fight them and have to work eBay. After a week of waiting I sent another
email (5) trying not to be angry but to sound concerned. They then replied
(6) that the item would be sent AGAIN? It was at this point I knew it never
was sent the first time; I mean what company or even person in their right
mind would send out ANOTHER item without trying to find out what happened to
the first?!! (WTFreek) So then I figured I would do this (make this page) if the
item did not get here, and I even warned them that I would. After three weeks
I had not even a hint of a package, no tracking numbers no communication from
them at all. Therefore I sent ANOTHER email (7), with the warning in it. They
then sent me an email (8) about coping the wrong address, and that it would
be here in 3-5 days; well that was BS too(update ^). I have STILL not received ANYTHING
else from the company: no emails, no tracking numbers, no question about my
address, nothing!!! That is why this page exists. Let this be a warning to all eBayers and all potential customers
of X3Racing. You may get a good price But the
quality of the product is not good, and if you are shorted something you need
then forget it! Be very careful, this seller is extremely dishonest! |
