This is a new time. As communities form through virtual socialization, it becomes apparent that in order to stay connected, individuals will relay more heavily on virtual informational boards listing various events and activities in order to stay connected. The One5e-n-d event calendar is a dedicated calendar for North Carolina & South Carolina events and activities. I invite you to post your event to the On5e-n-d Calendar for FREE. You can add a link to your event information, and it will be listed on the Calendar along with other events within NC/SC.  Rules of the Board: 

1. You're not allowed to post flyers to the calendar. However, you can provide a link to your flyer. I suggest you use Flickr (now Yahoo!). You CAN e-mail us your flyer, and we will post it for review in our photo gallery. You can link to our MySpace page and post your flyer there. When sending a flyer of your event to us, make sure the flyer is in JPG or GIF format. 
2. When posting event information, try to be as concise as possible. Normally what is on your flyer will give all the necessary information. However,  please try to provide ALL of the following:
   1. Who – Who’s doing this event? (Ex: so, and so, Presents….)
   2. What – What is the event about (Virgo Party, Concert)
   3. Where – Physical address, city, state and ZIP CODE (remember this is an NC and SC board. Also, Charlotte has about 25K (or more) new people moving here each year. Not every one knows what or where NoDA or South Park is? However, people do use MapQuest. So, give a physical address, along with a zip code.
   4. When – The time it will start; the date
   5. Price – How much?
   6. Dress code, if any.
3. You are not allowed to list your event as a reminder to the group.

Benefits: 

Again, the board is FREE. By centralizing events, you get the benefit of having multiple individuals from different scenes checking out your event. This will give you the ability to cross-promote your marketing efforts. We will also select one or two events and/or activities to share flyer cost with each month. If we select your event and/or activity, we will offer to pay for 1/3 (not to exceed $65) of the flyer cost for a tag line and web address on your flyer (i.e. for more info: www.one5end.com, see the calendar). If selected, we will also help distribute your flyer for FREE. Because we MAY share flyer cost with you, please try to list your event BEFORE you send your JPG or GIF flyer file to the printer for final duplication. Let us know of your event/activity as early as possible.

So, if you would like to post your event:

(1) Click on One5e-n-d Group and join the Group (you'll need a Yahoo! account) 
(2) Go to the Yahoo! Group Calendar and post your event

After, posting your event within the Yahoo! Group Calendar, we will review it and add your listing to the Public One5e-n-d Calendar. Thanks.
