Is Photography Art?
Because photography is a relatively modern craft, some folks have a hard time equating a photograph with art, especially with all of the new point and shoot cameras, and the new films that are available. Just about any one can create a photograph, but even with today�s high tech cameras and reliable film, the photographer must rely on basic skills to put together an image that stands out. Subject matter, composition, and lighting are all elements of a good photograph. Mastery of these elements is the difference between an average photograph and photographic art.
