CESO - From their web page: "The Council of Engineers and Scientists Organizations (CESO) is a federation of engineering labor unions. It was formed during the tremendous recession in the aerospace industry in the late 1960s. Highly-skilled enginers and scientists were entering the ranks of the unemployed in record numbers. The leadership of ten professional organizations gathered in San Francisco and on March 29, 1969, they decided to form CESO. CESO soon began exerting its influence in Washington, DC, pressuring Congress to show proper concern for the thousands of US citizens on layoff. Today CESO serves over 100,000 engineers, scientists and technical employees represented by twelve unions nationwide. It is the largest organization of its kind in the United States."
CESO really is fighting for engineers and against the ITAA in Washington DC.
WashTech has not collectively bargained for any shops yet, but it looks like they're ready to do so if need be. They're affiliated with the CWA.
