| Learning to Find the Beauty | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| We've all seen those commercials put out by the Ontario Tourism Board that show this amazing land that has pristine waters, beautiful lush forests and dark hills that make you wish you lived within its beautiful fairy tale world. You take a deep breath, exhale a wishful sigh, and then they tell you that this place is Ontario. What? Ontario? The same place littered with ... litter? Not my Ontario! |

Yes! It is my Ontario, it is mostly northern Ontario, but that beauty can be found all over this great province. Beauty, I have found, can be discovered easily in the most mundane things, all it takes is a little focus, a little blindness and a lot of creativity. Seeing things through the lens of a SLR Camera makes "blindness" easy, by "cutting out" the obstructions like cars, mullets and litter, one can see the true beauty behind the mundane. |
