Rob's 1978 Caprice Classic Coupe

Here's a pic of my caprice before I started taking her apart. Right now the interior is stripped out, the headliner and dash are being re-done. The dash is being hand made. The body work will begin soon, I hope to have her on the street by next summer (2003) but only Money will decide the actual date. The motor is a 350 cid, 4bbl stock with 74000 original KMS. this car has no rust anywhere. I bought it when I lived on the West Coast (Vancouver)

A little additional info: I have successfully made a "Caddy Style" Billet Grille for it, and have removed the body and wheel moldings. I want to radically smooth the car when she goes in for body work.

If any one is interested in a billet grille I can make em ! They only Fit 77, 78, 79. and caprice only, not impala. The 77 and 79 may need a little work to fit as they are bit different as far as I can see. The unit themselves is an insert only, I haven't worked out the mounting detail yet, as my car is disassembled and I need to have it ready to located the fastening locations. Cost on grilles would run $500.00 Canadian. Plus taxes, freight. Delivery on them is about 4-6 weeks.
