Passing the official Practice Test is required, in Kansas, before taking the actual test. Candidates must register and pay at least 1 week prior to the scheduled test date, providing there are still openings. Space is limited for each session. An applicant must be a resident of Kansas. A valid KS Identification (such as: driver’s license or KS ID card) is required at time of registration and on the date of exam. Cash or checks made payable to Kansas City Kansas Community College are the only acceptable payment methods. The GED pretest will be cancelled if there is not sufficient enrollment.
