| WHAT IS IT FOR? |
| Wheatpasting is the ultimate form of free advertising.It allows you to get a message or idea across to thousands of people without paying to do so.Advertise a gig for your band,a community event,or an anarchist slogan.If you really wanna piss the authorities off,advertise the recipe for wheatpasting. |
| WHAT DO I NEED? *Wheatflour *Water *Paintbrushes/Sponge brushes *Posters/fliers *Container with lid *Gloves *Plastic Bag |
| HOW DO I DO IT? 1.Pour dry wheatflour into the container about 1/3 the way full. 2.Slowly add water and stir as you go. 3.Continue adding water until the paste is thick enough to stick but thin enough to paint onto walls ect. 4.To put up a poster,paint a generous layer of paste onto the wall and smooth the poster over it. 5.Make sure edges are stuck down but do not paste over poster (wheatpaste is not clear so you wont be able to see the poster). 6.Remember that wheatpasting is more fun when you have a purpose,ie: anti-political statements ect. |
