The chains and shakles are invisible, Yet they hold me down. The naked eye alone cannot see them. They bind me tight; they add this weight. The weight that suppresses me. Depresses me.
All the while you're enjoying life. Can't you see it? The ropes around my wrists, The shackles and locks at my feet. I cannot free myself. This dark, gray world is surrounding me.
My mouth is stuffed, so I cannot speak. My eyes are blinded, so I cannot see. My ears are blocked; I cannot hear. My face is twisted; I try to shout.
But you can't chain down my mind. You can't chain down my heart. Come and get me. I will fight you. And I will win. My mind holds the things your mind cannot handle. I also have my spirit. I will use these to reign victorious. I will always conquer you, Even when I'm bound again. |
