US Navy with warship and aircraft War Ship Series: U.S.S. Battleship BB-62 New Jersey is second of four IOWA class dreadnaughts built for use during World War II. BB-62 had a beam of less than 110 fleets, which allow her to navigate through the Panama Canal, and is what gives this ship the speedy appearance. It was proposed to be a 56,604 tons displacement vessel with a top speed of 33 knots. New Jersey has had the longest service life than Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. Her first assignment was during the Pacific war campaign from 23 May 1943 to the end of World War II. Her second assignment was recommissioned for use during the Korean War from 21 November 1950 to 21 August 1957. During the Vietnam War, the New Jersey was recommissioned from 30 September 1968 to 31 March 1969. Her last assignment was during the Mediterranean Conflict. New Jersey was updated with new weapons systems at the Philadelphia Navy Yard on 6 April 1968. New Jersey doesnt look different from the way she did in 1943. However, a great amount of modification of the 5 self-defense gun and the entire antiaircraft defense gun have been removed and replaced with Tomahawk and Harpoon missile, and Phalanx AA systems. TAMIYA modes offer you easy assembly, plus hours of enjoyment. Moreover, their instructions are easy to follow with useful help tips. New Jersey is large enough for detailing and be able to display realistic. Therefore, TAMIYA is one of my most favorable model manufactory beside HASEGAWA. Below are 1:350 U.S.S. Battleship BB-62 New Jersey by TAMIYA following by 1:600 Japanese Navy Battleship Yamato by ARII and 1:700 U.S.S. Assault Vship Tarawa by Dragon.

1:72 Scale F-14A Aircraft Series by Hasegawa The Grumman F-14A Tomcat is the United States Navys fighter aircraft. The F-14A was originally developed to be the U.S. Navy VFX-the next generation carrier fighter. One of his characteristic is the computerize control variable geometry wings. It allows the aircraft to maintain at optimum lift drag ratio at all times. While being stored underneath the deck of the aircraft carrier, the wings can sweep backward to 75 degrees to save space. The main missions of the F-14 are fleet air defense and provide air cover for the attack forces. In order to allow the aircraft to fulfill such requirements air superiority roles, AWG-9 weapons control system have been added on each aircraft. It allows the aircraft to lock onto and track as many as 24 targets up to 166 kilometers away simultaneously. Such weapons control system is also capable of simultaneous, multi-targeting during air-to-air combat when tracking is impossible. The F-14 Tomcat can fire as many as six AIM-45 Phoenix missiles at the same time individually, with a range of 185 kilometers, which greatly increasing its attack capabilities. Moreover, each Tomcat can mount maximum of 6 latest radar homing missile, AIM-120A (AMRAAM); or mount maximum of 4 Super Sidewinder air missiles equipped with an infra-red homing system. Its fight time is about 60 seconds. In addition, to a M61A1 20mm Vulcan cannon as a fixed armament. Each aircraft carrier is also equipped with three Tomcats, which have been modified to fit the Tactical Air Reconnaissance Pod System (TARPS) to perform reconnaissance missions.
