Wins a Wild Richmond and Overtakes Redneck Racing in the Points

Although Jeremy Mayfield hit as a longshot last week at Darlington, it was his first hit in over a year. However, he backed up last week's good run with another hit this week. So he's now ineligible as a longshot. The list has been updated.
Farmer's Detroit Wheels used Mayfield to get in the lead pack of teams, but the difference maker for him was his Rusty Wallace pick and his Jeff Burton pick in the finish section. Whacker Racing was the only other team to put Rusty Wallace in his finish section and Farmer was the only one to pick Jeff Burton in the finish section. A wreck filled race helped take out some of the more popular picks and let Farmer's less popular picks slip into the top 6.
Meanwhile, Dan Jauch takes 2nd place and begins to stretch his point lead in what was once a hotly contested battle. Not only in Pick-6 terms, but also in Cup terms. Just a few weeks ago Dan Jauch was about 5th in points when compared to the Cup teams, he now sits in the equivalent of 3rd place only 3 points behind Dale Earnhardt Jr. His win at Darlington made it so that he only needs one more win to get into the 2004 Winston.

Dan Jauch is only 3 points behind me? That
stupid Pick-6 president must not be adding them right.
It seems NASCAR will be handing down penalties to 6 more team members for "conduct detrimental to the sport". Boy, I'm glad the Pick-6 teams are so well-behaved. It helps that Farmer moved to Arizona...........just kiddin' Farmer....:^)

Hey Ryan! Let's hear "Stairway to Heaven"!
