LEARN SIMPLE EXPERIMENT ON ELECTROLYSIS HERE.
YOU WILL NEED: A GLASS BEAKER , A PAPER TO COVER THE BEAKER, TWO GEM CLIPS, A DRY CELL, SOME STRIPS OF ALUMINIUM FOILS, SOME WATER AND SALT.
TAKE WATER IN THE BEAKER AND ADD SALT AND DISSOLVE.PLACE THE PAPER OVER THE RIM. PUT THE GEM CLIPS BY PIERCING THE PAPER AT SOME DISTANCE. NOW CONNECT A STRIP OF ALUMINIUM FOIL FROM ONE OF THE  GEM CLIPS T O THE POSITIVE POLE OF THE BATTERY. TAKE ANOTHER ALUMINIUM FOIL AND CONNECT IT TO THE OTHER GEM CLIP AND NEGATIVE POLE OF THE BATTERY. SEE THAT THE GEM CLIPS ARE TOUCHING THE SALT WATER. ONCE RTHE BATTERY IS CONNECTED YOU WILL SEE BUBBLES OF OXYGEN AND HYDROGEN AROUND THE GEM CLIPS. THE GEM CLIPS ARE ELECTRODES AND THE PROCESS IS CALLED ELECTROLYSIS. SO WHY DON'T YOU TRY NOW.
