Anti-war Demonstration at the Arkansas Federation of Democratic Women
Here are some of the folks that showed up at the OMNI Center pro-peace demonstration on Saturday, July 15
on the sidewalks in front of the John Q. Hammons
Convention Center in Rogers, Arkansas.
OMNI's organizers estimated the number of protesters to be between 25 and 30.
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton spoke at a fundraising luncheon at the Hammons Center
for the Arkansas Federation of Democratic Women.
We were not there to protest Senator Clinton but to protest the US policy of war and
occupation in Iraq.
This Embassy Suites & the Hammons Center are both in the new "Shoppes at Pinnacle Hills Area" at
3303 Pinnacle Hills Parkway just off US-71/I-540 in Rogers.
OMNI is currently reconsidering its schedule of monthly protests. Please email Chris at omniprotest @ yahoo.com for the latest protest schedule.
