| Circle of Death (Center and Outside) This drill is essential for a balanced defence and offence. One person is restricted to a small space effectively placing him in an entirely defensive position. The Attacker can move around and attack at will. Both combatants have full health. Center-You may feel trapped in the middle but Stay calm, this is vital because your mind must be clear. Be in the here and now. Concentrate on the path of your enemies blade as he nears. Do not think of winning, losing, dodging or jumping. Think only cutting. Let your movements unfold naturally, all your attacks and movments will be executed at the right time if you think only of cutting. This is at the Heart of Saber fighting no matter what style, learn it well. Outside-This is great to practice landing the first blow. Don't just rush in like a fool, hide your intentions then spring like a rattle snake, you must practice. |

| Evasion (Evader and Assaulter) One Person has no saber and the other constantly attacks with medium. Evader-The unarmed player should stay as close to the enemy as possible, dodging and even trying to bump into the aggressor. Do not worry about how long you survive. Concentrate on good defensive movement, look for openings that you could exploit in combat. Also try not to jump around or roll too much. Assaulter-This is a great target and timing practice. Try predicting his footwork, chasing someone with the saber is bad form. Your saber should meet them head on so they walk into it. |

| Here is a brief description of our Training Drills... Under Construction Warm up- Students spend 10-15 minutes warming up with single and combo attacks trying to stay in one spot, or standing on a pole for more challenge. We may also drill specific moves and spin combos. Evasion- One Person Attacks an unarmed opponent with medium. The Evader dodges and tries to bump into the assaulter between attacks. Students switch places Circle of Death- One member is confined to a small space and must hold his ground. The other may move about and attack at will. Students switch places Advanced Circle of Death- The "lucky" guy is confined to the crossroads on the bridge in Korriban. 2-4 opponents surround him and attack one at a time as thier names are called. King of the Hill- Two Combatants constantly attack and try to hold the Center of the box. 20 Health Duels- 3 or more is recomended for this. Burn your health down to 20 and duel as normal. This emulates a real duel. winner takes on. In Your Face Duel- Students cross Sabers and wait for the signal, then BAM you fight from the in your face position. Strait Line Duel- On a Bridge fight using only your Left analog stick and right trigger. Advanced Strait Line Duel- Same as above except you fight on the thin part of the x-wing's wing Joust- One student stands behind a line while he is being attacked one at a time. The Attackers run toward the lone man and have up to five moves to use until they must retreat. Another comes and so forth until the lone man is no more. Suicide Line- One Person grabs a Hundred shield. He battles other members with normal health in rank order till hes dead. Jack in the Box- There are 2 boxes close to each other in Tattoine, each contestant grabs a box with a hundred shield. One starts out as the attacker and must jump and fight in his enemies box. When "switch" is called the attacker jumps back to his box and is on defence. Musical Tables- Up to 5 people will each grab a table in Tattoine. All combat must take place on the tables, its a free for all till one man stands. Barkeep- The Prey stays behind the bar. 3 people take turns assaulting the bartender one at a time.... The Ninja Drill- Everyone in Yavin Training Area grab a green guy with a green saber. Fight the entire duel inside one of the large plants, using cover and ambush. Super Duel- This is practice for Power Duels. Using the large boxes in Korriban 2-4 people grab a box. The Lone guy must try to take out everyone and can move freely between any occupied box. The enemies are confined to thier box only. Tekken Tag- This is a Duel with 2 people on each side. A player can tag thier partner at any time, but before they switch spaces both may stay for 8 seconds trying to get the most damage against the lone opponent. |
