The demon on the left is Scourge, years prior to the story's beggining he was summoned forth into the world by a young Seichi and went on a rampage until Seichi's father sealed the demon away at the cost of his own life, these events are what lead to Seichi becoming cruel and twisted, the demon remained sealed until Seichi's powers began to wane because his followers started to follow his younger brother Artaunga angry at this he broke the seal, hoping the demon would eat the non believers and strike fear back into the hearts of those that followed him, then he would slay the demon and the people would worship him, however things didn't work out that way, Seichi's followers were the first to die and without their faith in him he became a mere mortal and was saved by his brother
Seichi is the guy on the right in the robes, after he lost his powers as a god he made a pact with a demon named consumption to bring him a young girl's soul so that he could use her to find were his brother's soul was at
In the picture Seichi was threatening his followers to either sacrifice themselves for him or become fodder for Scourge, however Seichi was unaware that without followers Gods become mortals and die
Man that was alot of writing ^^;; anyway I hope it looks nice, I was originally going to have Artaunga pleading with Seichi not to do that but there wasn't room on the paper
