| Animals are awesome and sacred, even from the beginning of time, they were noted to be "good". This same saying goes for ALL animals, even some of the most foolishly feared or hated. What animal do you fear the most? Panther, tiger, lion, wolf, or maybe even shark? Well, you shouldn't fear these creatures in the first place. In fact, it's possible to make friends with any animal, even the most wild....but let's start with the wolf, shall we? Do you have a dog or know someone who does? And if you do, how much does it love you if you spend time with it? Well, did you know that the wolf was the very first canine on earth? And that all the dogs we know now evolved from the wolf? This is a fact, you can't name any dog that doen't have at least a little bit wolf in it. And you know how much dogs love people right? Well, that love comes directly from wolves, believe it or not! It's true, in fact, at some point in history, man and wolf lived together, I think like 8,000 years ago....but ever since man started to farm, they started hating wolves for reasons unknown. But I think they startedhating wolves because the wolves were doing only what comes natural, killing and eating cattle, the farmer's cattle. But think about this, how's a wolf gonna know it's not supposed to attack these cattle....put yourself in the mind of a wolf for a second, I'll help you. Now think about this....you're the wolf....and you see the farmer's cattle, and you think, hmmm yeah, they are trapped and are going to die. So why don't I just speed the process. That way, I'll get fed. That my friend is what's going on in the mind of the wolf, trust me I know. And that's why man started hating wolves. Wolves get killed by the thousands each year because of this, regretfully. And how to solve this problem, ranchers shouldn't have cattle in the first place to use all to themselves....they should share. When their cattle have offspring, the farmer's should keep the offspring and let the older cattle go free, (and of course let the young grow a bit first) and this will solve all problems between man and wolf. But still some people don't understand that wolves are actually harmless, just remember, wolves won't attack you unless you provoke them, I promise. If you don't believe me at least believe this, wolves are actually on our side, or should say, "allies in nature". This doesn't mean you can go straight up to a wolf though, I'll explain this more on another page. A/W, One day I'm gonna go out and make friends with a pack of wolves, I'm probably gonna go to the Sawtooth Mountain range to do this. It's gonna be awesome! |
