Familiar with computer packages for word processing
like Word star, Chi-Writer, Microsoft Word etc., data base packages like Lotus,
Dbase. etc. and Windows based packages like Microsoft Excel. Confident of
handling quantitative techniques used in analysis of survey data using
statistical packages like SPSS. Also working knowledge of Linux environment and
associated packages.
I had been working as the System Administrator in HSS Department for the last three and half years. The department has around 60 computers and on an average 70 users makes use of the computer facilities. As part of system administration I have been regularly conducting orientation classes in Windows NT and Linux for Department users. I had been instrumental in setting up a Multi Purpose Computer Lab (MPCL) in HSS Department.
