Omicron Chapter thanks you in advance for your generous support for an event that June was proud of and exemplifies her spirit.

Omicron Chapter is setting up a special fund in honor of June A. Bradlaw, one of our esteemed members and a dear friend to many.  June worked for over 40 year in the government as an accomplished researcher.  She authored over 50 articles on cell culture methods, in vitro toxicology, and genetic toxicology.  She was active in many scientific organizations in addition to GWIS, such as the International Foundation for Ethical Research, the National Anti-Vivisection Society, and the Scientific Advisory Committee on Alternative Toxicological Methods.

Over the years, June received many awards for her work and achievements.  She also authored a children's book called, " Tree Bear's Adventures in Learning" containing illustrations created by her uncle.

Omicron Chapter's
Young Investigators Symposium (YIS) gives up-and-coming scientists the opportunity to practice their presentation skills and showcase their research in a friendly environment.  Our members support new researchers and are always interested in hearing about current research projects.

We feel that we can memorialize June's intelligence and enthusiasm through setting up this fund in her honor.  This fund will support YIS costs for food, materials, and honorariums.
