Fun On The Run

Sorry for skipping Sunday and being late on this. But I have an excuse! My internet was down from late Saturday night to this morning.

Wow...I had a lot to say, but now I forget it all. I need to start writing stuff down more.

Um...I might not be online much in the next few weeks (I will still update, though), due to a couple things:

1) I have exams coming up soon. And this year I have provincial exams, not just normal school ones. This means harder stuff, which in turn means I will actually be studying. Just to give you an example of how hard: we had a practice provincial exam for science, and the highest mark from last year was only 74%. My score: 75%. I am a straight-A student. Only my friend (another straight-A student) beat me on that score, and that was only by 1 percent. Heheh...I'm screwed. And the English one is supposed to be even harder. Plus a non-provincial French exam. Fuuuun.

2) I have two band concerts in a row, on the two subsequent days after the exams end. One of them I am gone for the day (have to go to another city) the other is in my hometown, but I have to go twice to play. This means I have to actually practice for once. But its all very fun :)

3) This is not actually a very viable excuse: I will be reading LOTS very soon. You see, a couple days ago I read a fiction book for pleasure, for the first time in a couple months. And it sparked my urge to read once again. Therefore, I ordered 9 books from the library, and I have 5 more to finish in the series of the book I read. For anyone interested, the books are:
-Dune by Frank Herbert (the one I read for pleasure) and its 5 sequels
-Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson (a Canadian author who is sweeping the fantasy world) which has 5 books so far
-Chainfire by Terry Goodkind (the newest Sword of Truth novel, just came out - and said to actually be good!)
-A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin (I have been meaning to read this FOREVER) 3 books so far, fourth due this year though everyone scoffs at that.

4) Because I read something fiction for pleasure, my inspiration for writing has returned. I have a fantasy series planned, see, which I never find time to write. I will hopefully channel this inspiration to continue skething out the world's geography, history and social structure, and to actually start writing the prologue/first chapters of the first book.

I will continue updating at regular intervals, unless my internet fails again, but I won't be on much to just chat with y'all for pleasure.

Oh! And, a little update on the entry strip stuff:

Jake is done. Vinx's is due for Sunday (due to me missing last update), and the one after will be on the Thursday following Vinx's. It will probably be Cyp's or Shady's, though if I get an urge to do a harder one then who knows. For anyone interested on where each one stands:

Cyp's - Not hard to make, just a matter of making it.
Shady's - Need another sprite (for a special character) and I need to tamper with Shady's some more.
Speedie's - This one is hard to make, due to some special effects. Plus, I need to tamper with a couple sprites.
Lina's - Hard to make, unless I find some good pictures on Google.
Torie's - Unless you want that warrior chick sprite, I need a new one for you. After that, its simple.
Kat's - I need an idea for her strip, first.
TC's - Need an idea for the strip, a sprite for TC, and whatever comes along when I get an idea :-(

So, yeah...

Ok, enough talking. If you actually read through all that, I commend you.

G'night.
