I'm A Lumberjack And I'm Okay...

I sleep all night and I work all day...

It may be about time, if you haven't already, to go back and read the comics again from the beginning, or else you may get confused if I mention some things you don't remember.

I was going to do a little interlude strip about two of the characters T*cough* and J*cough*, but I realized I had already made this one so I just used it. The other comic will have to wait another time.

To those who actually noticed I was missing all week: thanks, I'm glad SOME people care. Although, apparently no one said any kind words at my funeral.

To explain in full:

Last class on Friday, March 11, was P.E. I was in the weight room. Near the end of class I was lifting dumbells while balancing on a big rubber ball. They weren't all that heavy, I think, but balancing while lifting them is tough no matter how light they are. Anyways, at that time my friends Mike and Patrick were balancing on two half-balls (half a big rubber ball with a plate to stand on) and throwing a medicine ball back and forth. Mike chucks it at Patrick hard, Patrick catches it to his chest, grunts, and falls back -- right at me. I fall backwards, reflexively put my hands out to stop my fall (still holding the weights), and manage to just miss the wall that was behind me, hitting the corner instead. I don't know the exact physics of what happened, but I ended up with one of the weights crushing my right wrist.

So I am sent home right away, messing up my plans to call Holly and Alden (so sorry, guys), and get to sit around all day in pain. It appeared I had just sprained my wrist. But that weekend it kept on hurting, and swelled up more. Despite this, I went out and reffed (well, I was actually running the lines, but no one knows what that means so i use "ref" as a collective term). By Sunday night I knew something more was wrong. I go to the doctors, and apparently I did more than sprain it. I didn't pay attention much (I never do when doctors talk) but I picked up I tore a muscle badly.

Despite this I go to school all week. It was my right hand (and I am right-handed) so I got a friend in each class to write for me. Tuesday I had a school band concert, but I managed to play anyway (I play trombone, for any who were wondering). It wasn't until Thursday that my fingers could move normally again, so on Friday I finally came back on the computer to you all. I figured that some of you may actually have worried about me. Stop laughing, I can dream. Lol, I know a couple of you cared, thanks for that.

Ok, enough of my life. Next update will be Kat's entry strip (Kat is Alden's friend in real life, fyi), but I don't know when I will update. My wrist still hurts, and it is a tough one to make. We shall see.
