STEP1
Oh yes, here it is again, the three horizontal lines and a vertical one!

STEP2
Make the eyes first, it is hanging below line B; then the nose, it is on the same level as the bottom of the eyes; after that, the face, it curves from line A to C then a roundish shape from C to point D.  make the ears above or aligned with line C.

STEP3
Make the eyes and mouth.  the eyes curves above line B, the eyebrows are below (sometimes aligned)  line C.  If you noticed, the curves on the sides are lower (and touches line B) than the lines curved to the center of the face; as for the mouth,  it is just below line C

STEP4
make the hair, as you can see, the hair in the middle meets in the middle of line D and B, the eyebrows are ignored by the hair but it stops at the eyelashes.  The hair is within the circle (top part of her hair, the violet part).

STEP5
do the usual thing, add details, sign pen, erase pencils

done!  colored in photoshop, I shrunk the pic 50% after coloring it so the line will not be choppy.  the original picture!  Pretty neat huh! ^_^
