Sisters in Service

Omega Phi Alpha performs service projects that fall under 6 categories.
-Service to the University Community
-Service to the Community-at-Large
-Service to the Members of the Sorority
-Service to the Nations of the World

-National Permanent Project - The National Permanent Project of Omega Phi Alpha is mental health.
-National President's Project - This project changes yearly.
The 2006 - 2007 National President's Project is Women's Health.
The 2005 - 2006 National President's Project is Education. 
The 2004 - 2005 National President's Project was "Support your Sisters".
The 2003 - 2004 National President's Priject was "Alcohol Awareness"

Service to the Nations of the World:
Trick-or-Treat for canned goods
Handing out pamphlets on International Organizations on campus
Blood drive volunteer

Service to the Members of the Sorority:
Fund raiser for chapter budget
Big Sister/Little Sister pledging study session
Chapter retreat

Service to the Community-at-Large:
Car wash for charity
Walk-A-Thon
Dance-A-Thon

Service to the University Community:
Hosting seminars on campus
Cleaning up the campus or community
Tutoring children or peers

Mental Health:
Retirement and/or nursing home visit
Children's hospital visit
Special Olympics volunteer
