L.A.D.Y.S., which stand for Leadership, Academics, Dedication, Yourself and Sisterhood. Each sister of Omega Beta Phi posses these five ideals and uses them to enhanced themselves, their academic career and the community in which they live in.
Leadership:
Omega Beta Phi encourages their sisters to be actively involved in their college and in community. Omega Beta Phi's sisters have held leadership postions in various organizations such as, RHA, Greek Programming Council, FIU Dance Club, the Inventional Club for scholars, DASO, Anything Goes Anime, and yearbook. Outside in the community sisters are actively involved with their church youth groups, former high school alumni associations and volunteering in after school programs.
Academics:
Your priority first and foremost is academics, that is the reason why we are here and why there are sororities. Omega Beta Phi strives to maintain the highest standard of scholarship within its members. Each semester, our scholarship chair hosts various study groups during the weekends for sisters to meet and review over material in their curriculum.
Dedication:
Omega Beta Phi believes to recruit sisters that are dedicated to their families, friends, academics and their sisterhood. Omega Beta Phi teaches sisters how to manage their time between school and home so that an equal fair balance can be maintain.
Yourself:
Being you is important when joining Omega Beta Phi. We look at girls who believe in themselves, girls who can bring a positive attitude, and off course respecting one another with in this organization. Omega Beta Phi believes that if you believe in yourself, the sisters will believe in you.
Sisterhood:
Here in Omega Beta Phi we believe we're the home away from home. Omega Beta Phi plans various sisterhood events to help create bonds that will last beyond the college years. We believe that regardless of anything that happens we are and will always be SISTERS ABOVE ALL!
