Long Time, No See

Omar and I have been crazy busy so far this year - hence not new entry since January. Here's the short list of what we have been up to:

Omar Happenings:

· Went back to school in January

· Broke a foot at work in February

· Finally got to perform Noises Off! in February

· Went on escort duty for the month of March

· Studying, studying and more studying

· Went back to the line in April

· Switched to and from swing shift in April

· Helped with Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. in April

· Began Grease rehearsals last weekend

Heather Happenings:

· Went back to work part-time in January

· Stage managed Noises Off! in February

· Helped build Audrey II for Little Shop in March

· Started directing Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. in March

· Auditioned for Grease in April (I'm Cha-Cha)

· Decided that a MS in management is not what I want

· Finished Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. last weekend

· Began Grease rehearsals last weekend

As for my resolutions, I've been trying to keep up with them, but with three shows back to back it's been hard. Well, I hope this gets everyone caught up.

Cats

For those who did not know Wolfy has been missing since February. We both miss him very much.

He has been with me since college and it's been very hard facing the fact that he is gone. Hermes and I would go outside almost every night after he left calling for him. Hermes would sit at the window and scratch to go outside to look for him. Omar would go to the shelter and vet asking about him. Omar and I enlisted the aide of Stephanie and her kids to help us paper the neighborhood with flyers with his picture on it. But now Wolfy to be found.

In that time Hermes came out of his shell and started letting our friends pick him up and pet him. He grow up.

A couple of weeks ago we got a new cat. Broudy is 2-years old and a sweet cat. After almost two weeks he has been weaned off cat nip (he was addicted to it) and is running around the house and jumping in the windows. He sleeps with me after Omar has gone to work and it is cute to wake up to the two cats curled up with one another. Hermes still isn't too happy about having another cat, but he loves the toys that came with him!

So I hope our cats are happy and that wherever Wolfy is he is happy and still loves us as much as we love him.
