Welcome to my Rocket page!
I have been building and launching
Estes model rockets since 1994. My dad was into rockets when he was a kid, and got me started at age 10. Ever since, I have loved every launch as much as the first. My dad is an English teacher who loves the work of Henry David Thoreau. Thoreau spent a few years (March 1845 until September 1847) to experiment with living a simple life in the woods near Walden Pond, just outside Concord, MA. During this time, he kept a journal and later wrote the book Walden (more on Thoreau
here). When I started launching rockets, my Dad requested that I keep a journal, like Thoreau. I thought that was a good idea, so I took his advice. I wrote down information for most of the launches that I have done. You can view this log, as well as some great pictures by clicking here. You can also view a list and pictures of the rockets I have, and have lost, by clicking
here.A Range Box is one of the most important parts of model rocketry. You can see a picture of mine, as well as all of the stuff I have in there by clicking
