| -THE ENEMY defenses at Omaha Beach where made to kill any and every Allied soldier that stepped foot on it's sand. | The American Cemetry That Stands Above Omaha Beach Is Prestine. Rows of Hundreds of White, Spotless Crosses Pay a Tribute to The Many Men Who Fought and Died on Omaha Beach, Aswell as Paying Tribut to Men That Are still With us Today, Who are Decreasing Dramatically in Numbers. |
| ENEMY DEFENSES |
| I have just begun this site as an extra from the Omaha page on my other site because there is just way to much info on Omaha and if I put it on one site, along with all the other stuff it would be mixxed and I would have so much.... umm well, you get the picture. I have just bought Medal of Honor: (or Medal of Honour, as us Australians spell it) Frontline. It's brilliant! I suggest that you, or anyone interested in World War Two to by it. The first few levels are all to do with the attack at Omaha Beach during the D-Day invasion of Normandy. It's brilliant. Anyway, nothing much else to say here. |

| -THE BEACH terrain made it easy for the Germans to build formattible defenses in the area. The beach is a crescent shape, which would have made it easy for the Germans to have crossing machine-gun fire...
