I Will Remember by Dakotarose
Here I stand on solid ground Reaching up to you Begging for the strength and will That I pray will see me through I feel you there inside my heart Asking me, "please, not to cry, Just live for all we shared together, There's no such thing as good- bye."
The courage you showed throughout it all As the battle raged on inside You never stepped down or lost your ground You fought with dignity and pride And it's pride I have for all you are For everything you gave You never questioned the way things were You just kept on true and brave
You opened my eyes to a brighter world Side by side, we rose above You graced me with your friendship And you honored me with your love I can't promise to always be strong And never shed a tear in your name But I will never regret and I will never forget And I will never quit the game So I lay a rose beside your name And I wipe away a tear And I hear you whisper inside my heart Saying, "Remember me here. These are letters I have received from Karren's family: *************************************************** I want to thank you for doing such a wonderful job for such a dear cousin of mine. She gave me so much, as I am sure she did for you. She had a chance to grace people's hearts. I hope you too had the opportunity to see her for who she truly was. I love her dearly, as I am sure you did as well. Thank you again, for doing such a wonderful tribute to the one I loved. Colleen and Family
*************************************************** Thank you for designing a tender tribute to my sister, Karren. I didn't know you all, but we all shared something unique and precious -- Karren in our lives. I know I was truly blessed by her presence----and still feel it now. Passion is my word for my Sissy. Passion for life, passion for people, passion for the causes she believed in. If you had her in your corner, there were no obstacles she wouldn't conquer for you. Steamroller like in her drive, unfailing in her loyalty, childlike sometimes in her joy ---- passionate about life. How lucky we all were to have had her in our lives. God Bless, Jocelyn D. Smith
