When in Barcaldine Qld, the year 5's and I worked on this project  They had to sew buttons and lace, ribbon and assorted other objects on to a piece of calico that I had already screen printed with a Christmas tree.  A couple of mothers helped me finish and embroider the name of each student on there stocking.
