This was a piece of calico that I placed under the white cotton (vest piece).  It had soaked up so much paint that I decided to work on it as well.  I screen printed flying foxes (fruit bats) on to it   in two different colours and made it into a lined cardigan  jacket.  It has quilting around the next in metallic thread and the eyes and toys of the foxes are beaded.
