19/3/2007 OLYMPIAKOS still alive
Olympiakos drew 0-0 in Dasaki of Achnas. The result was initial viewed as a disaster but fortunately the defeat of Ayia Napa meant that Olympiakos' hopes to stay in the first devision are still alive. The game was very good for the spetators with both teams creating opportunities to score. Nicolaou hit the post in the second half while appeals for penalties by both Spasic and Djenic were waved away by the referee. Rotsa as expected started with Hristov and Panigutti up front, Themistokleous, Tiago, Djenic and Machado in midfield and Nikolaou, Adinolfi, Nikolaou and Georgiou in defence. Unfortunately even with two attackers the team was unable to score the vital goal. Even worse, Djenic was sent off in the dying minutes of the match which means that he will miss the crucial game against Omonoia in April.
