17/2/2007 Aris - OLYMPIAKOS 2-0. A step back
Olympiakos suffered a 2-0 defeat by Aris at the Tsirio Stadium. This was an unfortunate result as Olympiakos was the better team especially in the second half. Aris was lucky to score in the first few minutes of the match, forcing Olympiakos to take the initiative and attack. Olympiakos raised the pressure in the second half and could have equalised but for Pittas hitting the post. Instead, Aris managed to score a second goal in the last few minutes of the match and take all three points.
