Olympiakos drew 2-2 with Apollon on Wednesday but the real news is that Olympiakos was massacred by the referee in front of the whole of Cyprus that was watching the match live on TV. TV, radio and written media, all made the same comments about the referee who simply did his best to give the match to Apollon. He started early on by showing easy yellow cards to Olympiakos� players. Apollon took the lead but Olympiakos equalised with Oliveira (37 minute) who then saw a second yellow card a few minutes later. Even so Olympiakos scored a second goal with Machado and was keeping the advantage until the referee invented a penalty for Apollon on the 81 minute. Stylianou was judged to have fouled an Apollonas player when he went down and made a save at his feet. TV showed clearly that Stylianou only hit the ball before the Apollon player fell onto him. It was a decision that left even some of the Apollona fans speechless! The referee did not stop there. After Apollonas equalised through the penalty, he sent off Aalto because according to the referee�s match report Aalto called the referee a woman! Olympiakos managed to hold on to one point even with 9 men but one point is not what Olympiakos deserved and once again Olympiakos lost points due to bad refereeing.
