06/01/2008 Consecutive defeats
Olympiakos suffered two consecutive defeats, one at either end of new year's day. The first was against Omonia (2-0) and the second against AEL (2-1 with Oliveira the scorer for Olympiakos). In the mean time 5 new players have joined Olympiakos during the winter transfer season. These are goalkeeper Adnan Guso, defender Iiro Aalto, central defender Hugo Coelho and two midfielders Corsiko and Leonardo Oliveira. Olympiakos is still looking for an attacker to replace Gonzalez who never returned from his Christmas vacation in Argentina.
