There is no limit to the improvement of the Olympiakos performance under new coach Barrios. Last Sunday Olympiakos played a fantastic game forcing even the Apoel coach to admit that Olympiakos was the team that deserved victory. Olympiakos went ahead twice with goals from Gonzalez (27th) and Panigutti (72nd) but Apoel twice managed to equalise. Olympiakos was the better team almost throughout the whole match and could have left the pitch with all three points. Olympiakos played with:Stylianou, N. Nikolaou, N. Nikolaou, Rodriguez, Papaionannou, Machado (77 Polkin), De Porras (55 Panigutti) Gonzalez, Injai (55 Deugoui), Grzybowski and Djenic.
