Olympiakos has qualified for the last 16 stage of the Cyprus FA Cup by beating AEL 3-2 in Limassol. Olympiakos needed to score as the first game ended 2-2. Panigutti found the net on the 12th minute with a great strike outside the box. AEL equalized but Olympiakos ended half time 2-1 up after Machado evaded the AEL defense and found Gonzalez who beat AEL�s goalkeeper from close range. The second half did not start well for Olympiakos. AEL took charge of the game and created lots of problems to Olympiakos. AEL equalized but Olympiakos found the strength to counterattack and score a late goal with Pittas on the 85th minute. The score did not change and Olympiakos is now in the last 16 stage of the Cyprus FA Cup. Olympiakos played with Stylianou, M. Nikolaou (De la Canal 66), N. Nikolaou, Rodriguez, Papaionannou, Machado, Panigutti (Pittas 62), Gonzalez (Degoui 90), Injai, Grzybowski and Djenic.
