My Life in Song
Fool On the Hill
Day after day alone on the hill,
The man with the foolish grin is keeping  perfectly still,
But nobody wants to know him,
They can see that he's just  a fool,
And he never gives an answer,
But the fool on the hill
Sees the  sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning  around.
Well on his way his head in a cloud,
The man of a thousand voices  talking perfectly loud
But nobody ever hears him,
Or the sound he appears  to make,
And he never seems to notice,
But the fool on the hill . .  .
Nobody seems to like him
They can tell what he wants to do.
And he  never shows his feelings, But the fool on the hill .
Paul McCartney
Have You Ever Seen The Rain?
Someone told me long ago
There's a calm before the storm,
I know; It's been comin' for some time.
When it's over, so they say, It'll rain a sunny day, I know; Shinin' down like water.
I want to know, Have you ever seen the rain?
I want to know, Have you ever seen the rain Comin' down on a sunny day?
Yesterday, and days before,
Sun is cold and rain is hard,
I know; Been that way for all my time.
'Til forever, on it goes
Through the circle, fast and slow,
I know; It can't stop, I wonder.
I want to know, Have you ever seen the rain?
I want to know, Have you ever seen the rain Comin' down on a sunny day?
In My Life

There are places I remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and freinds I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I loved them all

But of all these freinds and lovers
There is no one that compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know Ill never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll stop and think about them
In my life, I love you more
In my life I love you more

He's a real nowhere man
Sitting in his nowhere land
Making all his nowhere plans
For nobody
Doesn't have an point of view
Knows not where he's going to
Isn't he a bit like you and me?

Nowhere man please listen
You don't know what your missing
Nowhere man the world is at your command.

He's as blind as he can be
Just sees what he wants to see
Nowhere man can you see me at all

Nowhere man don't worry
Take your time don't hurry
Leave it all til somebody else lends you a hand

Doesn't have a point of view
Knows not where he's going to
Isn't he a bit like you or me?

Nowhere man please listen
You don't know what your missing                   Nowhere man, the world is at your command.
He's a real Nowhere man                                         Sitting in his nowhere land
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.

These songs relate to my life as though they were specifically written about me.
Life is a trip which we travel on a long dusty road, some people make this trip speeding along riding in a limousine, eating steak and drinking wine. Others like me struggle day by day stumbling and crawling on our hands and knees, eating dung and drinking urine to proceed each inch to whereever we may be going.
