Danny Liska was an adventurer, and an explorer. I dedicate this page to his life and adventures.
I met Danny in 1982 while I worked as a motorcycle mechanic for another legend who has passed on, my freind George Martin, a great human being, his sole has separated from the body at death but he lives on,if only in our hearts.
Danny brought in an old Harley Davidson with a lot of memories and with it he brought the stories of his life. He talked about his fabulous journeys across the great continents on a motorcycle.
In September of 1959 he Started at the Polor ice cap in Alaska down through the great plains of North America  and the hot deserts of Mexico. He journeyed through the jungles of Central America, over  the Panama Canal, and across the great Amazon Jungle. Then over the spectacular heights of the Andes, all the way to the southern tip of the Americas finishing his quest in August of 1961.
One of Dannys' next great adventures started in September of 1963. Starting from the northern tip of Europe and over the Alps of Scandinavia. He journeyed across the old countries of Europe all the way to the Mediteranian Sea. Then across the great desert of Egypt and through the dense jungles and wild wildernesses of Africa, finally reaching the southernmost point in November of 1964. Another triumph over many seemingly impassable areas on two wheels.
Danny died of leukemia in 1995, but he lived life to the fullest. Pictures posted on this page are from a pamphlet which he had published. He autographed the booklet for me and as you can see the pictures tell the basic story.
