My Grandfather Edwin Olson, Ole and Emma Olson's son was given or purchased part of Ole's land south of the homeplace. This is where Edwin and his wife B. Susie Lunde would live out the rest of their days. They had two sons. The oldest my father Leland and 2 years younger Edwin Vernon.
Susie's sister Minnie Lunde died while giving birth to one of her sons Maurice. Minnies husband Jens Grimlie was unable to care for the infant while keeping up his farm. Edwin and Susie offered to take him in and raise him. So there were three brothers in the Edwin Olson family. |
