| The remains of East Sioux Falls are being brought back into the light. A new park is surfacing. The city of Sioux Falls has recently bought land for a new park in the old East Sioux Falls quarry area. This park called Arrowhead Park will soon be finished and is now open to the public and once again parts of East Sioux Falls will be resurrected and life will be brought back into a once dieing memory of our South Dakota heritage. The quarries may be filled with water with plenty of geese, ducks and swans swimming in them, but some of the building foundations remain and an old barn built in 1888 which has been restored is there to view. Hats off to the people who helped save the old historical place of interest.. |
