Firehawk Era & Great Separation
by TK~Yoshi3gg, our ex-leader
I first met Firehawk when I was working on a trig map of the Lord of the Rings trilogy (trust me, it was bad!). Well any way, I was going into the Custom Maps channel, to see if anyone wanted to trig test it, and the only person in the channel was Firehawk. He said he was starting a clan for map-makers. I said I'd join, and I was given the rank of Judicator, because I was the first person to join the clan.
Time went on, and we grew to a large clan. Eventually we found out that it would be wise to start a melee side of the clan. We did that, and got more members.
That... was when the clan started to die.
Hawk said that we needed to start holding tournaments. He also started holding meetings. None of which he showed up for! This caused a lot of confusion among us. He kept saying "sorry about that, it will be rescheduled for x time on x day" and wouldn't show up for that, either.
It wasn't only that, but we also recruited a member named TK~Recon. Just a few days after he was recruited, almost every member knew his name. Not because he was such a great member. Quite the opposite, in fact. He was a cocky little $h!t who got on everybody's nerves.
There was also a guy name $px~sector7 (or something close to that) coming into our channel and stealing ops.
Here is where everything comes together: $px came into the room one day (as usual) and stole ops. I came on, spoke to one of the other members (TK~Grimith_R. i think), and found out that Hawk had left the clan. PURE CHOAS! People coming in saying how dead TK was and everything. People left the clan. Recon started helping $px take over the channel. He started scrolling all over the channel, and everything! I put a post on the forum saying that I was going to hold a mandatory meeting. Only one member, TK~Max_Kepler, showed up.
We got to talking, and changed the name to the Protoss Imperium of Worlds. Max and I both ended up just abandoning Starcraft and going to different video games.
TK was dead. . .
A few months later, I restarted TK under the alias TK~Soul. We got a lot of members fast, and I searched for old members of TK. I found Max (thank God) and we started making the clan work!
Then I got grounded :-/. When I got back, the clan was practically dead. I was discouraged, and went around searching for old TK members again. Max re-rejoined, I found TK~Green, and TK~Neo.
Now I am glad to tell you that we have pretty much reached the end of the story.
I'm sure you are glad that I have stopped blabbing on, too!
