Central Catholic Inivitational
The Chargers ran at Schnley Park against many others teams from the area. In the C races, the girls finished with a 2nd place trophy and the boys came in close with a 4th place finish.
Katie Purcell came in 2nd, and Maureen Zivic, Katie Jarocki, and Lindsay Snak all finished within the top 20. Arlo Donaldson, on the boys team, also medaled in the top 20.

Catholic Schools Invitational
Besides the fact that it wasn't some of the runners' best days, OLSH took over as usual. A strong comback was made by Katie Sexton finishing first in the JV race. The girls JV team got a 2nd place trophy. Emily Canny and Shelly Kocsuta medaled in the top 10. The boys varsity team also finished with a 2nd place trophy. Craig Luzik had a great race medaling in the top 10. The girls varsity team had Katie Purcell finishing 2nd, with Maureen Zivic and Katie Jarocki finshing in the top 10. They took the lead, receiving the 1st place trophy.
W.P.I.A.L. Championships
With winds up to 30 mph, it didn't stop the girls team. Finshing with a solid runner-up spot and an invitation to the PIAA Championships, all of their hard work finally paid off. Katie Purcell lead the girls and placed 2nd, just 6 seconds from 1st.

The boys also ran a great race finishing 17th out of 38 teams. They were lead by Dave Kapela and Craig Luzik. The boys team had a remarkable season and are looking forward to improving even more for next year.
P.I.A.A. Championships
The state championships was the perfect place for the Lady Chargers to show off their talents. With experience from last year, they didn't party too hard and got enough sleep for their big  day. Katie Purcell placed sixteenth out of 258 of the best runners in the state, follwed by Katie Jarocki, Maureen Zivic, Lindsay Snak, Katie Sexton, Haley Hinds, and Emily Canny. Our team greatly improved from last year's championships, finishing 11th in the state. Congratulations girls on an awesome season, and we hope to be back at States next year!
