| Mary-Kate and Ashley Fuller Olsen are fraternal twins born on June 13th, 1986 to David and Janette Olsen. They have an older brother named Trent and a younger sister named Elizabeth. The twins also have a younger step brother and sister, Jake and Taylor, from David's marriage to Mackenzie after the Olsens divorced. When they were 9 months old, their mother's friend suggested that she take Mary-Kate and Ashley to an agent, where they got an audition for the TV sit-com Full House. Sure enough, the twins landed the part of Michelle Tanner, and shared the part as babies are not allowed to work for more than 30 minutes per day. |

| The girls had been playing Michelle Tanner for around 8 years, when the show was cancelled. Many people thought that this would be the end of their careers but the twins proved them wrong. Their parents went out and got the girls a celebrity lawyer, named Robert Thorne, and together they formed a production company called Dualstar Productions. With Dualstar, Mary-Kate and Ashley have made many movies, tv series, a fashion line, electronic video games, dolls, not to mention books based on their movies and tv series. Just recently, Mary-Kate and Ashley have signed a deal with Warner Bros. for 3 movies that may be shown in cinemas. | |||||||||||||||||||
