| The childrens Mass of December
24th featured the children of the Parish both thoses
enrolled in the school as full time students and those who attend after
school catechism. The students dressed as shepherds and angels, even one
as Mary (who quickly delivered Jesus) and of course Joseph,all acted out
the gospel accounts. They also preformed the role of lector,sang as choir
members and carried the gifts for the offertory.After the mass they gathered
for a group photo which could have resulted in temporary blindness from
all the flash bulbs of their relatives.
Fr. Dave pointed out the importance of Christ's coming for all of us, while assembling a small cretch. Finally families gathered in the foyer at the front of the church embracing and making plans for the holidays. The great Jublilee year and the Christmas season ended on the Feast of the Epiphany.That is the traditional 12th day of Christmas Fr. Fedewa's funeral was on weds the 10th of Jan. Fr.'s Complo and Bilot returned for the service presided by the Cardinal. -- Hope the new year brings more
