Our Lady of Peace School being a Catholic school managed
and supervised by Sisters of St. Paul
of Chartres holds worthy five major
values which filled the heart of the
great apostle St. Paul. These refer
to the 5C’s of St. Paul.
CHARITY : COMMUNITY
: COMMISSION : CHARISM : CHRIST
With the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres
taking charge of the academic supervision
of Our Lady of Peace School, all OLPSIANS
inevitably are exposed to the ideals
of Paulinian education, the thrusts
of which area as follows:
Christ-centered Education:
As Christ was the center of Paul’s life
and those of the Sisters of SPC who
administer the school, so also is He
the center of every OLPSIAN’s life.
The Curriculum through which education
is delivered to every student by the
Catholic teacher of OLPS has CHRIST
at the center and around HIM revolves
the values of charity, community, commission
and charism - the values of St. Paul
and the founders of the SPC Sisters.

will lead the students on to a personal
integration through growth of virtues
characteristic of a Catholic Filipino.

The curriculum is written with a thorough
understanding of child’s growth and
development. It reflects the interest,
needs, abilities and natural learning
styles of the learners.

particularly the underprivileged, who
are endowed with God-given talents harmoniously

Our Lady of Peace School is a parochial school that commits
itself to Catholic education as an expression
of the mission entrusted by Jesus Christ
to the Church He founded. OLPS aligns
its objectives to the education of the
Church, to prepare its members to proclaim
the Good News and to translate this
proclamation into action. The educational
mission of the Church is an integrated
ministry, embracing three interlocking
dimensions: first, the proclamation
of the word of God; second, fellowship
on the life of the Holy Spirit; and
third, service o the Christian community
and the rest of the human community.
(Documentary on Education, Mla. Synod,
1979) Education involves the integration
of the individual’s thinking, values,
emotions, outlook, habits and experiences
so that these become apparent in the
individual’s behavior and lifestyle.
The information of the human person
is first and fundamentally an orientation
to his ultimate destiny and simultaneously
to the good of the society of which
he/she is a responsible member. (Gravissinum
Education’s, Vatican II)
