Well done, you've reached
Manufactured Pop
Pop. It's annoying, cheesey, irritating and fans of this particular music genre know it. So why do they still listen too it. I don't know the answer, but if you do please e-mail me.

Well, as horrible as pop music and everyone involved in making it is, it still exists, but I am going to give you five good reasons why it souldn't.
1. It's soul-less. It has no character. It's written by people with a passion for money, not music. I don't think this is what music should be about. Music should be a way to express how you feel, or to try and make other people feel good, not to increase your personal wealth.

2. It's a waste of YOUR money. Everyone who buys a pop album will eventually realise that it is, infact, complete and utter crap and give it to their little brother/sister. Whats the point in that.

3. Pop music is all about feelings and that love stuff. WHY. It's boring and repetative. How many songs about spliting up with somebody are there. Too many. I for one am bored with the subject of pop songs.

4. Pop stars are usually forgotten anyway. You know the story. One day Joe Bloggs auditions for the new pop 'band'. He gets in. He's famous for six months. The 'band' splits up. He lives in the 'where are they now' file for the rest of his life, and possibly gets a job as an estate agent. Oh well, just another life chewed up and mangaled by the pop music industry.

5. It's a waste of T.V. time. All of the time they're showing pop academy and fame idol rejects making arses of themselves and all of the prancing about and crying of people that get told that their singing ability is 'compitant' could be used to air something good, like Robocop (the film, not the crappy T.V. series which is just as bad as pop idol) or Futurama.
