I.                   Catalog Description and Credit Hours of Course:

 

This course provides students with experience on how to maintain computerized financial records for a business.  Students will learn how to key transactions, read financial statements, and print reports.  Course meets 4 hours per week.  Credit Hours – 3.

 

II.                Prerequisite:  ACC100, DPR120, DPR160

 

III.             Purposes and Objectives of the Course:

 

After completing this course, students will be able to

 

A.    Maintain accounting records for service businesses

B.     Complete quarterly activities and close the fiscal year

C.    Maintain accounting records for merchandise businesses
