Project 2

Designing for Communication

 

            The following projects will be group projects.  All students are expected to participate and add value to the group.

 

Activity 1

 

            Companies use logos to communicate a message about the company.  Choose a business and design a company logo that makes a positive statement about the purpose of the business.

 

 

Activity 2

 

            Use the above logo and design both a letterhead and an envelop for the company your group has chosen.  Be creative.  Letterhead should also contain the name of the business, the address, and the telephone number.  You may wish to include a fax number and an e-mail address.

 

Activity 3

 

            Design a memo pad for the company using the above logo.

 

Activity 4

 

            Design a flyer advertising your company using the above logo, as well as any other information you would like for your customers to know (sale, grand opening, etc.)
