Olivia's First Thanksgiving!

Olivia celebrated her first Thanksgiving in South Carolina with her dad's family. We stayed with them in Central/Clemson S.C. for the week. (Next to Clemson University). We were supposed to be there from Sunday the 23rd until Friday the 28th. But the whole family stayed until Tuesday Dec. 3rd, and Daddy left to go back to Maine and Olivia and her Mommy stayed until December 7th because of illness. Big things happened when we were away! Olivia cut her first 2 teeth on Thanksgiving day. Both teeth are the bottom front ones. And boy was she miserable! Thats why we didnt think anything of it when she cried all day friday. We went to the airport and when our flights were changed we decided to wait and fly out the next flight we could get which was to be Tuesday. But later that night Olivia was screaming in pain, so we decided to call the doctor. Dr. Mark met us at the office and determined Olivia had an ear infection and would not be able to fly. Olivia then had croup that started Saterday night and lots of fluid from her nose. Dr. Mark checked us out Monday and Mom had an ear infection now, and Olivia's ears were still not clear, so Mommy & Olivia had to stay until Saterday. Dr. Mark checked us out again on Friday and we were clear to fly. So it was a long visit with Grammie and Papa Smith!
