I also have been writing since I was young. I write poems as a way of acting out dreams, thinking through situations in my life, and just trying to get things off my chest when I had no one to talk to. Sometimes it's to think things through,and other times it's to talk about things in my life. Like Alicia Keys put it," they are like diary entries." Each poem or song that I write is like a snapshot of my life though sometimes I like to write from different perspectives.
Since the end of 2004, I have been entering in poetry contests. I have received three Editor's Choice Awards from the International Library of Poetry and have been nominated to be 2005s Poet of the Year. I have been published in collections of poetry from the International Library of Poetry and the League of American Poets.
In the future, I hope to further my music career and someday, you will be hearing MY music on the radio or see ME in concert!!!
